Bigger cabin, more surface, more time. That is the only reason the price differs.
Carpet in a car older than 5 years holds dirt below the surface, so it gets a deep clean with extraction. You will see it in the price.
Not a vacuum at the gas station. A real shampoo of carpet and seats. If it has been over a year, the carpet needs extraction.
Cloth with stains needs hot water extraction. Dirty leather needs a deep clean and a conditioner.
We ask about the carpet because it takes the most hours. Pick the closest match. If it is worse on the day, we agree on the price before we start.
Hair worked into carpet and seats is the slowest part of any interior: up to 3 extra hours with brushes and the extractor.
Each seat comes out and gets cleaned, +$50 per seat. Crumbs and sticky spots on the car seats themselves are included in the base price. A child can sit in the seat after about 6 hours, when it is fully dry.
Smoke, pets, a spill. Cleaning plus a treatment that removes the smell, not just covers it.
Surface clean and dressing: plastic covers, reservoirs, seals. Not a full engine wash, that needs a day to dry and cannot be done on a driveway.
A protective coat that lasts through winter and road salt. About one extra hour.
This is the gift. You pay it now, in full. The certificate is valid 12 months and covers exactly this set. If their car needs more on the day, they pay only the difference.
